Okay, so youre a couple of weeks out - you've got the outfits, the seating charts drafted, what might have you forgotten! Run your eyes over our handy checklist...
- Have you sorted how everyone is getting too and from the venue? We imagine it's a yes for the Bridal / Grooms party - but what about everyone else! Most guests should manage this themselves, but you don't want Mum and Aunty Sal who are joining you for the morning get ready to be left in the lurch as you head to the venue!
- Heel Stoppers! If you're getting married on grass, grab a pair of our Heel Stoppers - clear plastic so you can't see them in the pics, but stops your gorg new shoes from sinking in!
- Have you got a camera friendly ring box? Chances are your rings came in one, but if its branded/not the ceremony colours, it might be a bit of a sore spot in the pics! Shop our range of beautiful Ring Boxes and pick up something that matches your wedding colours...
- Getting the timeline and contact list ready and shared with your vendors/bridal party is the best way of making sure your wedding morning is chill and stress free!
- Any last gifts or cards? If you want to write a heartfelt message to your partner for him to read the morning of, or get a little gift for your MIL, then now is the right time to get it ticked off, wrapped and packed ready!
- You've probably thought about the main signage but what about the extras - reserved signs for seats, meeting point sign for bus pickup?
- Make an emergency pack - we'd reccomend painkillers, band aids, hair ties, perfume, a stain remover pen, needle and thread, wet wipes - pop together a little pack of anything it would be great to not have to use, but COULD save the day!
- On a similar thought, if you have a bit of DIY work to do at the venue, then pop together a tool kit in advance - screwdrivers, different types of tape, sticky dots, wire etc! Just so you can get it done and enjoy the process quicker!
- What are your vows written on? If you want it to look cute in the pics, probs best to write out your vows on some nice paper or in a vow book - will make a cute keepsake for the scrapbook too!
- Do you need tissues? Or does Dad? We have beautiful hankies available on site, but any tissues will do!
- Sunnies! If it's gonna be bright, why not grab a pair of cool white sunnies for you and your bridal party!
- On the same note, Fans! Our Bou the Label fans are perfect for placing on ceremony chairs if the forecast looks hot, theres nothing worse than guests overheating before you get there!
- A morning off playlist? Or a few! Assign one of your gals to create some vibey playlists - maybe something chill to start off with, that ramps up as you get closer to the ceremony!
- Is HE sorted? We know your fits are ticked off, but have you got the finishing touches for him - tie slide, cufflinks etc? If not, our range on site makes it oh so easy to pick up these last min bits...
- Hydration reminder! Pick up one of our Hydropeak flasks to make sure your hydrated on the day!
- If you're getting married on a property or non traditional venue - make sure you've got these - cake knife, lighter for candles, power leads.
- The pen for your wedding license signing! Make sure its a cute one, for the pics!
- And your witnesses chosen! Is there someone who didn't get a role in your wedding? Let them be the one to witness your certificate signing...
- Have a pack up plan! It's your wedding, and the last thing you want is to be packing up at the end! Assign someone or let the venue know where to pop cards/gifts or any decor items you want to save...
- Find a minute... We don't doubt the next to weeks will be busy - welcoming family to town, all those final beauty appointments, packing etc. Find a couple of hours to spend with just your partner, go for a walk or a drink and just spend a second resetting and getting excited together about your big day...
