Shipping policy

Effective Date: 9 July 2025

At Something New, we’re committed to getting your wedding goodies to you safely and as quickly as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle deliveries within Australia.


1. Where We Ship

We currently ship Australia-wide. We do not offer international shipping at this time.


2. Order Processing Times

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days of being placed. Orders are not shipped on weekends or public holidays.

If there is a delay in dispatch due to high volume, supplier restock, or another issue, we’ll notify you by email.


3. Delivery Timeframes

Standard shipping times are:

  • Metro areas: 2–5 business days after dispatch

  • Regional areas: 4–8 business days after dispatch

  • Remote areas: Up to 10 business days

These are estimates only. Delivery may take longer during peak periods, sale events, or due to courier delays.


4. Shipping Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout and is based on your location and the size/weight of your order.

We occasionally offer free shipping promotions, which will be clearly advertised at the time.


5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.


6. Authority to Leave

Some parcels may be delivered with Authority to Leave if you’re not home. If you have specific delivery instructions, please include them at checkout. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered by the courier.


7. Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping details before placing your order. If you enter an incorrect address, contact us immediately at concierge@yoursomethingnew.com.au. We’ll do our best to help, but we can’t guarantee address changes after your order is processed.


8. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive at all, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We’ll liaise with the courier and do our best to resolve the issue quickly.
