Refund policy

Effective Date: 9 July 2025

We want you to love everything you order from Something New. If something’s not quite right, we offer 30-day returns on most items — no stress, no fuss.


1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging.

  • You’ll need to provide proof of purchase (e.g., your order number or receipt).


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following unless they are faulty:

  • Earrings

  • Undergarments

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Sale items marked "final sale"

These exceptions will be clearly noted on the relevant product pages.


3. Change of Mind

Changed your mind? No problem. As long as the item meets the eligibility conditions above, you can return it for a refund or store credit (your choice).

Please note: original shipping costs are non-refundable.


4. Faulty or Damaged Items

We take care to quality-check every item before dispatch, but if your product arrives damaged or faulty, contact us as soon as possible at concierge@yoursomethingnew.com.au. Include your order number and photos of the issue so we can resolve it quickly.

We’ll cover return shipping costs for any faulty or incorrect items.


5. How to Return an Item

To start a return:

  1. Email concierge@yoursomethingnew.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We’ll email you return instructions and a return shipping label (if applicable).

  3. Send the item back within 7 days of receiving the instructions.

  4. Once received and inspected, we’ll issue your refund or store credit.


6. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 3–5 business days for the refund to appear in your account once processed.


7. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you'd like a different item, please return your original item for a refund or credit and place a new order.
